About The Bastard Chronicles
Obviously “The Bastard” is referring to me. Why would I label myself that? Besides being called one on a daily basis, it really isn’t a negative association for me. The title derives from a little known ebook entitled “Women Really Do Love Bastards” by Tigress Luv. I just generalized it as that guy who has asshole qualities, yet people still love him… devious smile and all.
It started out as a journal and resume/showcase for my career as a musician, writer, film maker, and graphic artist, but after months of procrastination, evolved to become just a collection of exercises for my own amusement. So I figured, what the hell, let me go public and see what happens and ta-daa… here we are.
As the domain states, this site is a chronicle for me and my life. It is entirely run by yours truly, although that may be due to the fact I’m too broke to employ folks, but hey, I’m just starting. Its intended purpose is to spread my opinionated charm in various mediums, and showcase the work I do as an artist. On a subliminal note, this site is also a contract to myself that I will not stop dreaming and even if I never become successful in anything in my life, I have this site as an account of my attempts. At least no one can tell me I didn’t try.
The Topic Is… There Is No Topic
The essence of this site is developing potential. I am my own example, which is the reason for the byline “The Rise of Leon Terra,” I’m putting a lot on it. It is half entertainment, half informational (Actually more like 75% entertainment because I’m expressing information my way—muah ha ha. Excellent).
Most people say to pick a niche and stick to it if you want to succeed. Most people also still find themselves crying inside because they hate their jobs. Being that I have an impulsive personality, I can get pretty random and my topics of choice could range from putting together puzzles in a dark room to the manifestation of decision in our physiology.
This site was built out of a lingering need to express myself creatively. It serves as the creative hub to all my endeavors, and as an interactive medium for networking.
I have no clue what direction I want to go with this site but in time I’m sure I’ll know my answer.
About Leon
Leon is a random dude.
Leon is an ambivert.
Leon loves Cheerios and energy drinks.
Okay, enough with the third person narrative.
I find it difficult writing about me pages because I really don’t know how to talk about myself. My actions represent me quite well thank you. But for the good of all mankind, I will at least make an attempt.
I consider myself a multi-media artist. I create things in a plethora of mediums, the main ones being music, film (video), and art (digital and analog); of course, I’ve went to school for all three areas in hopes of becoming a part of each industry. I also find myself writing a lot because I think too much and need to release some psychic pressure.
Very much into psychology and human behavior of which I am forever a student of, and find fulfillment in helping others reach their potentials. At one point I used to be an undercover match-maker—helping guys to become more comfortable and confident in their own skin and actually start talking to women… and not FUBAR’ing. So much for that.
There are many other things that I am into such as: improvisational theater and comedy, health and nutrition, bodybuilding, parkour and free-running, martial arts, dance, magic and just being an overall nerd when it comes to technology and cool toys. Of course the best way to get to know me is to get to know me (Is that Zen?).
Noobie?
There are 3 main categories (which I am calling “Channels”) in which I spend the majority of my time posting on: Alkamee TV, Hybrid Music, and Personal Development for the Obnoxious, Creative and the Attention Deficient. Since the theme of the site is potential, it is split into my work as a creative soul as well as my views about motivation, productivity, creativity and so on from the perspective of a very individualized sort of artist (which is difficult to explain at times).
There are not too many sites I’ve found that discuss personal development for those of us who choose not to follow the mainstream and have a unique voice on the subject. I just get really tired of hearing so many personal development guru’s explain things in cliche ways that it ends up sounding really corny and forces me to lose interest. Sorry.
These 3 channels become the core of the site. They are listed underneath my billboard near the top of the page. For a complete explanation visit About the Main Channels.

Umm, no. I hate it when I visit other blogs (especially those blogs that talk about blogging—too many of them nowadays) and there are ads EVERYWHERE. Plus pop-ups, and side tags, and promotional codes, and text ad links, and ugly-ass sponsor images, whatever.
I hope to not have to result to that, for now I would just love if people read my stuff. That’s it. And subscribing just makes it easy especially with an RSS reader. Of course you could also have me send you emails too. Whatever works for you.
Enjoy this site and if I could set up a couch and a coffee machine, I would. Actually, I changed my mind have one on me.
Happy reading.
